YEREVAN. – There will be no two poles in these elections because it did not turn out that [second President] Robert Kocharyan become the consolidated leader of that wing because the second force was created. Edmon Marukyan, chairman of the opposition Bright Armenia Party (BAP) and head of its faction in the National Assembly (NA), on Monday told this to reporters in the NA, referring to the fact that a bloc between the former ruling Republican Party of Armenia and the opposition Homeland Party has also been formed for the snap parliamentary elections slated for June 20.
"But in my opinion, these are the votes of the same segment that will be shared between the two forces; there is no electoral difference in this regard," he added.
