I can assume what questions you are going to ask, and I ask you to follow the press releases issued by the Ministry of Defense and official news. This is what Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia Arman Sargsyan told reporters today and refused to answer questions.

“The way I see it, the Ministry of Defense presents the situation on a daily basis, and I would like to ask you to follow the news provided by the Ministry of Defense. Thank you,” he said.

When Sargsyan was reminded that he is the deputy defense minister and can express the views of the Ministry of Defense, Sargsyan said the following: “I know who I am. I’m asking you to follow the official newsfeed. The Ministry of Defense obviously provides precise information.”

When told that Nikol Pashinyan had said the government would consider how the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan freely entered the territory of Armenia, the deputy defense minister didn’t respond.
