The paper was first published by Armenia's former ambassador to the Vatican Mikayel Minasyan. According to the latter, Pashinyan was going to sign a new agreement that would damage the interests of the country.

"Yes, if Azerbaijan implements those agreements, in the conditions we have talked about, yes, I will sign that document," Nikol Pashinyan today told the government sitting.

The acting PM also noted that Armenia has reached some agreements with its international colleagues. According to him, those solutions are 100% in line with the interests of Armenia.

Pashinyan added that he would not publish the document to be signed because it was not correct to publish a working document.

The PM also noted that nearly 500-600 Azerbaijani troops are still located on Armenian sovereign territory in different parts.

"The logic of our armed forces’ actions is the following: to limit the potential of the actions of the Azerbaijanis with tactical actions," he said adding that a huge amount of diplomatic work has been done and is being done in this regard.

  • The European parliament has adopted a resolution demanding the immediate and unconditional release of Armenian prisoners of war.

During today's session, MEP Marina Kaljurand noted that 'Azerbaijan should fulfill its international obligations, including the ceasefire agreement and the ECtHR ruling, which applies to more than 200 Armenian citizens.'

"The inflammatory rhetoric and spread of hatred should be stopped.

The military trophy park in Baku is the most serious example of it," she added noting that it has to be removed.

She also referred to the Azerbaijani provocations near the Armenian state border, noting that "the border incidents are deeply worrying."

"I urge Azerbaijan to withdraw and start proper negotiations with Armenia," she added.

MEP Viola Von Cramon-Taubadel, in turn, noted that thousands of killed soldiers from Armenia and Azerbaijan and many more displaced civilians - that is the price of what Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev calls the victory.

"Mr. Aliyev, noting suits more than the humanity to extend the helping hand to its defeated enemy," she noted.

Meanwhile, another MEP Petras Aushtrevicius noted that 'everything must be done to move from conflict to peaceful coexistence.'

"The EU was the passive observer of the conflict. It did not use its influence to prevent it. The EU must initiate and actively participate in the peace process," he added.

  • As of Thursday morning, 191 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of these cases has reached 221,559 in the country.

Also, seven more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total 4,364 cases.

The number of people who have recovered over the past one day is 472, the total respective number so far is 209,980.
