Second President Robert Kocharyan, who heads the “Armenia” bloc ahead of the snap parliamentary elections on June 20, stated this at Tuesday’s press conference of the leaders of this bloc, referring to Security Council secretary Armen Grigoryan’s statement that Azerbaijan wanted to exclude Russia from these processes, and it is only through Armenia's efforts that Russia participates in this process, and the negotiations are trilateral.
"Considerable part of our problems is due to the fact that people with such a background and knowledge have appeared in extreme positions. If that structure [the Security Council] just did not know a few days before the [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war [last fall] that Turkey will be part of that war, what can we say now? What should we talk about? Whose statements should we comment on? ”Kocharyan added.
