Perhaps someone motivated Azerbaijan to make provocations in Syunik and Gegharkunik Provinces. This is what acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said in response to MPs’ questions in parliament today.
According to him, it's very rarely that Azerbaijan took such radical steps on its own.
“I suppose Azerbaijan couldn’t have dared to take such actions on its own. I believe this was based on an initial agreement with other forces. The government will provide more specific information when it is available,” the acting PM said.
When independent MP Tigran Urikhanyan asked if Turkey might be behind this, Pashinyan said this is one of the hypotheses.
