We can destroy all Azerbaijani soldiers who have invaded the sovereign territory of Armenia. Eduard Asryan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, told this to a press conference Thursday.

“We’re currently trying to settle the situation through political and diplomatic means, but if we make a decision, we’ll destroy all of them. They won’t be able to leave the territory,” the army general emphasized and refuted the thought that the country’s political leadership had ordered to not use weapons. “Only the military leadership gives orders. The political leadership decides how the issue needs to be solved. If we feel that there are conditions for Azerbaijan’s deliberate use of force, we will deal a blow to prevent this. We will destroy the Azerbaijanis entire armed personnel in our territory. They are all under target. We see their tents. Based on my evaluation, there are no preconditions for the time being,” Asryan stressed. He also emphasized that, in spite of the casualties suffered during the war, the Armed Forces of Armenia are ready to meet their combat objectives and that nobody is prohibiting the army from performing its duties.
