Negotiations are in progress, and Russia, which is Armenia’s number one military ally, is making efforts for a speedy solution to the issue. This is what acting Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia Arman Sargsyan told reporters today, touching upon the current situation on the country’s borders.
Asked if Armenian soldiers have been ordered to not open fire, the acting deputy minister said that’s impossible.
As for the possible outcomes of the negotiations, Sargsyan said the effectiveness of the negotiations will be based on the outcomes.
