YEREVAN. – As of this moment, no real cases have been registered in connection with vote-buying. Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia, Ara Fidanyan, told reporters about this Tuesday.

"If I am not mistaken, 27 reports are being prepared, and studies are being carried out, including 14— related to property damage, damage to posters. I should mention that 12 of those 14 were posters belonging to a specific person, 5 [cases] of which have already been solved," Fidanyan added.

And to a reporter’s remark that the incumbent authorities are engaged in an aggressive election campaign—ahead of the snap parliamentary elections on June 20--, the revenge of the citizens is announced, and asked whether such statements worry the Armenian police, the Deputy Chief of Police responded: "All the statements made by various political forces are definitely being studied by us. At their request, we will also undertake a series of meetings with the representatives of all [political] parties to discuss both preventive and other types of matters."
