What is the most symbolic today is the ruling party’s slogan [for the upcoming elections], that is, ‘there is a future’. Second President Robert Kocharyan, the leader of the "Armenia" bloc that will run in the snap parliamentary elections on June 20, stated this at a meeting with the residents of Shirak Province and the active members of this bloc—in Gyumri.

“This means we need to convince the people of Armenia that there is a future. The authorities have put the future of the country in jeopardy with their actions, and now their slogan is ‘there is a future’. I’m certain that the events of 2018 wouldn’t have taken place, if the problems hadn’t been accumulated. We all need to learn the lessons. We want to build a totally new Armenia. We need to do everything we can to not accumulate problems so that a group of inexperienced and incomprehensible people are unable to reach Yerevan by walking from Gyumri and bringing a scourge like him [Nikol Pashinyan] to power,” he said.
