The current authorities are guided by the principle: "If you are in the dirt, try to make others dirty, too." Second President Robert Kocharyan, the leader of the "Armenia" bloc that will run in the snap parliamentary elections on June 20, stated this speaking to reporters in Sisian town.

Responding to question about the assessments made to acting PM Nikol Pashinyan and his political team about the army, Kocharyan proposed to recall their own respective assessments before the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war last fall. "The style of the team in power is incomprehensible to me. After all, elections are an account on what has been done. I have not heard an account [from them]. I was assuming that [these] people would first apologize to the people for what was failed to be do, they would promise that they would try; this does not exist either. The style [of these authorities] is that they tarnish others. If you are in the dirt, drag others in the dirt so that they do not look better; this is the psychology of flawed people," Kocharyan noted.
