  • The Central Election Commission of Armenia on Sunday summed up the results of the snap parliamentary elections.

The commission received 3 applications to declare the election results invalid.

In accordance with the final data, three forces enter the parliament - the Civil Contract party, the Armenia bloc, and the I have the honor bloc. By the number of votes received, the leader is the Civil Contract party - 688,761 votes or 53.91%, followed by the Armenia bloc - 269,481 votes or 21.09%, the third place is taken by the I Have Honor - 66,650 votes or 5.22%.

  • The Azerbaijani military soldiers threatened residents of the Syunik Province Tegh village with firearms in the sovereign territory of Armenia and did not allow them to gather the harvested grass.

According to the Human Rights Defender of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, noted on June 26, 2021, several residents of Tegh village went to their property lands to collect the grass they had harvested on June 23 and 24.

When they were about 300 meters away from the Azerbaijani position in the administrative territory of Tegh community, they noticed that 5 Azerbaijani armed servicemen were approaching them shouting aggressively.

Approaching about 150 meters, they directed their weapons to the villagers, started threatening, shouting, and not allowing them to collect the grass. Two of them behaved more aggressively and demanded from the villagers not to come to those areas at all or try to use the lands.

  • Phone calls made to Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) citizens by Azerbaijani and Turkish nationals have been registered at the Artsakh National Security Service (NSS) in recent days.

The Artsakh NSS once again urges to refrain from answering such suspicious phone calls and to apply to the NSS immediately.

  • The Office of the Representative of Armenia before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) has made a statement over the ongoing illegal criminal prosecutions of Armenian prisoners of war in Azerbaijan.

The statement says that according to the information gained on the sidelines of the inter-state legal processes initiated by the Armenian government in the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and collected from open public sources, currently the Azerbaijani authorities are conducting fake criminal prosecutions against Armenian citizens who have been captured during the war unleashed on September 27, 2020, and are still being held in Azerbaijan with obvious gross violations of international humanitarian law.

Also, the Office of the Representative of Armenia before the ECHR noted that since the Azerbaijani authorities will attempt to use every opportunity to "exemplify" the fake criminal prosecutions initiated by them, it is ready to cooperate with lawyers, attorneys, the chamber of advocates, or any other persons and/or human rights organizations interested in the matter.

  • As of Monday morning, 54 new cases of the coronavirus were confirmed in Armenia, and the total number of these cases has reached 224,851 in the country.

Also, two more deaths from COVID-19 were registered, making the respective total 4,510 cases.

Meanwhile, 74814 people so far have been vaccinated in Armenia against coronavirus.
