Just like on Monday, the employees of Yerevan Zoo are carrying out a protest on Wednesday, too.
They are against Arevik Mkrtchyan’s appointment as the new acting director of the zoo.
Yerevan Zoo staff state that Mkrtchyan is a close friend and teammate of the former director of the zoo, Ruben Khachatryan.
The door of the zoo director's office is sealed, and the entrance to its administrative building is closed since last Friday.
