Supplying weapons is the sovereign right of the Russian Federation. This is what Spokesperson of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova said today, commenting on President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev’s statement.
“We read and hear a lot about this. We cooperate with both Armenia and Azerbaijan. We also take into consideration the maintenance of the balance of forces in the region,” she added.
A few days ago, Alilyev demanded that Russia stop supplying armament to Armenia.
