Those displaced from the Hadrut region of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are protesting again in front of the main building of the government of the Republic of Armenia (RA).

"We had sent a letter 45 days ago, we still do not have an answer as to what they [i.e., the Armenian authorities] are thinking about the population displaced from Artsakh who are in Armenia [now]. What plans and projects do they have for our future destiny?

(…). An agreement has been reached on some issues, but nothing is clear yet.

The first issue that concerns us is the issue of status. We are displaced, we have an RA passport, but we are not considered [RA] citizens; nobody says which country’s citizens we are.

"Winter is coming soon, there is no progress in resolving the housing issue," said a protester.

He added that their state-paid rents have stopped in the last two months.
