I established warm relations with Iran’s foreign minister. This is what Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan said in response to deputies’ questions during today’s question-and-answer session in parliament.

According to Mirzoyan, he and his Iranian counterpart discussed very important issues.

“I would like to say that this visit and the conversation generally concerned not only the bilateral relations, but were also of regional significance,” Mirzoyan added.

Mirzoyan emphasized that he welcomes Iran’s stance on the inviolability of Armenia’s borders and, in general, all the positive signals that Tehran is sending. He also said this also concerns the “Zangezur corridor”. “There is no such issue and there can’t be such an issue,” he added.
