MOSCOW. – Russian peacekeepers have ensured the safe travel of about 1,000 transit vehicles in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) in one month, reported the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The servicemen at the observation points carry out monitoring in their area of their responsibility every day. Russian peacekeepers ensure the safe travel of transit vehicles through the checkpoints of the observation points. In order to prevent possible provocations, all vehicles are checked and, if necessary, inspected. In one month, the safe travel of about 1,000 transit vehicles as well as of more than 6,800 people was ensured," said Dmitry Emelyanov, a representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.
