Samvel Babayan’s Liberal Party and Aram Sargsyan’s Republic Party signed a coalition memorandum in Meghri town of Syunik Province and divided the power of the local self-government body between each other (each political party will serve half of the five-year term).

Republic Party won the local self-government elections in Meghri town, garnering 42.8% of the votes (6 mandates), while Civil Contract Party garnered 32.8% (5 mandates), Liberal Party — 14.4% (2 mandates) and Country for Living Party — 9.8% (2 mandates).
