The tariffs for natural gas for consumers in Armenia will not increase as of January 1, 2022. Garegin Baghramyan, Chairman of the Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC), told reporters about this in the National Assembly Wednesday.
"I can say [that] the tariff for consumers will definitely not change as of January 1 because all the [respective] deadlines have already passed," Baghramyan said, adding that negotiations in this regard with the Russian side continue.
As for the electricity fees in Armenia, he said that relevant discussions are still underway.
"When we receive the final balances, I can say at the end of November or the beginning of December. The electricity tariff depends also on how the negotiations on the [natural] gas tariff at the border will end," Baghramyan said.
