The format of Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group enjoys the wide support of the international community, as stated in the statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation on November 9 of this year. This is what Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova said today, asked in which sectors the work of the OSCE Minsk Group is in demand following the signing of the trilateral agreement on November 9, 2020.

“Russia considers important the continuity of the efforts of the three Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, and first and foremost in the context of the solution to the socio-economic and humanitarian challenges facing the region. I would also like to recall that on September 24, during the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group held a meeting with the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan in the “3+2” format. Currently, the three Co-Chairs are preparing to meet in several capitals across Europe, and we believe it is important to resume the practice of large-scale trips of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group to this region as soon as possible,” Zakharova stated.
