In general, there is common sense and its logic is the borders that existed during the Soviet Union; we follow that logic. Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, said this Thursday in his briefing with reporters after the Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia.

To note, Grigoryan announced Wednesday that Azerbaijan would set up customs checkpoints on the Goris-Kapan motorway of Armenia.

"That is, it is clear that we have not gone through the process of [border] demarcation and delimitation, but we have a rough idea of that border, the basis of which is the map of the 1920s. Based on that map, we envisage the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which we have proposed for further clarification, so that we can go through the process of [border] demarcation and delimitation," he said.
