At its Cabinet meeting Thursday, the Armenian government approved its action plan for its activities between 2021 and 2026.

Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated that this action plan sets out the strategic goals, measures to achieve them, their expected results, timeframes, and sources of funding.

According to Grigoryan, this action plan reflects also the fulfillment of Armenia's commitments under the Armenia-EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement, as well as the programs to be implemented within the framework of the €2.6bn package to be provided to Armenia under the EU economic and investment plan.

The deputy PM added that this action plan is in line with the main provisions of the EEU strategic programs, as well as with the framework of the strategic partnership established for Armenia by other international organizations and donors.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in turn, said that there was nothing new in this action plan because everything about it was discussed during the pre-election period and the debates on the government program.

"In fact, the plan for the implementation of our public announcements is presented here. I believe there is no need to discuss many details because we will repeat ourselves," added the premier.
