Armen Khachatryan, an MP of the majority "Civil Contract" Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, is confident that all remaining Armenian captives still held in Azerbaijan will be returned.

He recalled that dozens of such captives had been returned through the mediation of Russia.

"I am sure that all the [remaining Armenian] captives [in Azerbaijan] will definitely be returned—at least in the foreseeable future. Whether or not it will be [Azerbaijani president] Aliyev's wish, [all] the captives, in my opinion, will be returned in the near future—[and] under pressure from the international community," Khachatryan told reporters at the NA Tuesday.
