Artsakh will never be part of Azerbaijan. Let everyone know that. Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Foreign Minister David Babayan told this to reporters in Yerevan on Saturday.

"It is unacceptable for us," the Artsakh FM said. "What can the world do? Say, 'Join Azerbaijan?' We will not join. And what can the Azerbaijanis do? To organize a massacre? Of course not. And harassment, terrorism do not frighten us.”

Asked whether the Armenian side has ever recognized the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, Babayan noted that, "The Republic of Armenia has never officially recognized the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan; that, first. Second, there is no Artsakh in the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan."

And regarding the National Assembly of Armenia setting up a committee of inquiry into the 44-day Artsakh war in the fall of 2020, Babayan noted that, "Sooner or later everything will become clear. Of course, any war needs analysis—but accurate, professional analysis, not speculation. We are in favor of such an approach, and we believe that the [aforementioned] committee will approach the matter that way."
