Defense Minister Suren Papikyan of Armenia, along with his deputy ministers, visited Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan Saturday, on the birth anniversary of the late Supreme Commander and statesman Vazgen Sargsyan, and laid flowers at Sargsyan's grave.
Then he walked around Yerablur, and laid flowers at the graves of the fallen Armenian soldiers of the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in the fall of 2020.
Papikyan, however, did not respond to a reporter’s question as to what has been done during these four years to solve the October 27, 1999 tragedy in parliament—one of whose casualties was then-PM Vazgen Sargsyan.
