Foreign Ministers of Ukraine and Turkey Dmitry Kuleba and Mevlut Cavusoglu agreed on steps to end the war between Russia and Ukraine during a meeting in Antalya, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy expressed gratitude to Turkey for the political and humanitarian support of Ukraine against the backdrop of Russia's barbaric war against the Ukrainian people.

The ministers discussed steps to end hostilities on the territory of Ukraine. In this context, Dmitry Kuleba thanked Mevluta Cavusoglu for the initiative to organize a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister.

He outlined three main issues on which he would insist on a trilateral meeting with Lavrov: "Immediate ceasefire, improvement of the humanitarian situation in Mariupol, Kharkov, Sumy, and other cities of Ukraine, the withdrawal of Russian troops."

The Ukrainian minister urged Turkey to continue working with Moscow to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine.
