I appeal to those of our compatriots who have been disappointed, discouraged in this situation: that is not a solution in this situation. There is a need to really wake up, get up, and get out of that stupor. Aram Vardevanyan, a member of the opposition "Armenia" Faction of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, told reporters about this Monday at Freedom Square in downtown Yerevan—and referring to the struggle announced by Artur Vanetsyan, the leader of the "With Honor" Faction of the NA.

"We really need to unite, be united, and we will achieve our result," Vardevanyan said.

"We have a clear action plan, the details of which will be presented in the near future," he added.

"This is such a period that our actions must be clearly planned and coordinated; that is how we are disposed. This will be a quite serious action plan," said the opposition MP.

Also he underscored the decentralized actions, the network struggle in its form and content, one of the manifestations of which Vanetsyan carries out.

"We are in a very difficult situation, I am convinced that we will get out of this situation, and such agendas, a 'bowed’ policy of the Republic of Armenia will not have a place in our scene," Aram Vardevanyan said.

And to the question what he expects from PM Nikol Pashinyan's visit to Moscow on Tuesday, the opposition legislator emphasized that he did and does not have any positive expectations from Pashinyan—and on the contrary, he always has a feeling of alarm.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that Artur Vanetsyan, the leader of the "With Honor" Faction of the National Assembly of Armenia, on Sunday announced the start of protests—and with no term or end—at Freedom Square in downtown Yerevan. Sometime thereafter, Nver Kirakosyan and Artur Avagyan, two participants of the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in the fall of 2020, announced a hunger strike, and they came to Freedom Square Monday morning.
