Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan have begun talks in Moscow, TASS reports.

As the Kremlin press service had reported earlier, the meeting will focus on current issues of further development of the strategic partnership between Moscow and Yerevan.

In addition, the implementation of trilateral agreements of November 9, 2020, and January 11 and November 26, 2021 with respect to Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh)—and including measures to restore economic and transport ties in the region—will be discussed.

According to the expectations of the Armenian side, the main issue on the agenda of the Putin-Pashinyan meeting will be the possible signing of a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
