The torchlight procession on the eve of the 107th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide is currently moving along Marshal Baghramyan Avenue in Yerevan. The procession is led by the torchbearers, followed by the citizens.

The participants of the march are carrying the national flags of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), as well as the national flags of the countries that have recognized the Armenian Genocide.

The motto of this year's torchlight procession is "Wake up, Lao," which, according to the organizers, is the necessary pan-Armenian sobriety call to overcome the challenges facing the two Armenian states.

The organizers announced a while ago that the great number of the participants in this march proves that "Lao has woken up."

The second and third presidents of Armenia also are taking part in this torchlight procession.
