A while ago, a group of youth, together with MPs Tadevos Avetisyan and Kristine Vardanyan from the opposition "Armenia" Faction of the National Assembly, carried out an action of protest in front of the main building of the Armenian government.

They had brought a bucket of red paint, announcing that it symbolizes Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's "thirst for blood."

Lawmaker Avetisyan dipped his hands into this bucket, and then pressed his red-painted hands to the ground.

Subsequently, the police knocked the opposition MP to the ground and took him to a police car.

The protesters turned the bucket over, and as a result, the ground was completely covered with red paint.

Tadevos Avetisyan was later released.

But the police special forces apprehended a group of protesting youth.
