A working conversation with citizens is taking place on France Square in Yerevan. Members of the Resistance Movement sum up the events that took place today.

Since the morning of May 30, representatives of the Resistance Movement gathered at the French Square in Yerevan, from where they started the procession.

At the beginning of the procession, parliament Vice Speaker, deputy from the Armenia faction Ishkhan Saghatelyan stated that today the Movement begins to visit various state, scientific and educational institutions with a clear demand to evaluate the opposition’s statement, which will be discussed in the National Assembly on June 3. Recall, the statement says that Artsakh will not be part of Azerbaijan.

The Civil Contract faction has already stated that it will not participate in the extraordinary session of the National Assembly.

“This is a good opportunity for people holding many political positions to separate from Nikola and not be responsible for the destruction of the country,” Ishkhan Saghatelyan said.

The participants went to the 3rd building of the complex of government buildings in Yerevan to find out the position of the ministers regarding the status of Artsakh. Deputies from the opposition blocs tried to enter the building and meet with the ministers. As a result, there was a clash between the police and supporters of the Resistance Movement. After that, several citizens were taken to hospitals. And 111 people were brought to police stations on suspicion of committing hooliganism. Law enforcement officers used brute force against protesters, including deputies.

Supporters of the Resistance Movement are going to organize protest actions tomorrow, and a rally and a procession will take place in the evening.
