The opposition will call a rally in the French Square in the center of Yerevan on June 4, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, vice-speaker of the parliament from the opposition, said during a rally of the Resistance Movement in France Square on June 3.
According to him, at 19:00 the results will be summed up and assessments of what happened will be given.
“It seemed to the capitulator that if he used force, special means, and violence against citizens, then the number of people would decrease. But the Armenian people will not kneel,” he said.
“Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, according to the politician, today once again declared war on his own people.
“We accept this challenge and we are ready to defend ourselves,” Saghatelyan noted, adding that anyone who used violence against protesters will be held accountable in the future.
