Defense Minister Suren Papikyan accompanied by acting Chief of General Staff of Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Kamo Kochunts and other high-ranking military officials visited Defense Ministry's central collecting station to get acquainted with the work being done with conscripts.

Responsible for the process of draft presented to the head of the Defense Ministry the order of the organization of the meeting, reception and medical examination of the draftees. Suren Papikyan familiarized himself with the conditions of the process, toured all premises, ordered to pay special attention to the problems with the draftees' health, and take necessary decisions for increasing the effectiveness of the recruitment process, ensuring fairness and transparency.

The Defense Minister also followed the lots, which determine the place of service, talked with conscripts, inquired about their expectations and mood and wished them safe service.
