A rally has begun in France Square in Yerevan on Friday, to be followed by a procession through the capital's main streets.

The latest border tensions are expected to be on the agenda of the opposition's speeches, in particular the Azerbaijani shelling of border villages in the Vayots Dzor and the abduction of a resident of the village of Khachik a month ago, which the competent authorities addressed only yesterday, when the press wrote about it.

Among the issues on last week's agenda is also Pashinyan-Erdogan's first phone conversation.

Opposition figures are also expected to comment on the Civil Contract party's decision not to appeal to the Constitutional Court over the removal of opposition MPs from their mandates.
