Mouflons, which are registered in the Red Book of the former USSR, were spotted again recently at the Zangezur State Sanctuary of Armenia This was reported on the Facebook page of the Zangezur Biosphere Complex SNCO, where a respective video was also posted.

"The species of these Armenian beauties is on the Red List of the IUCN [(International Union for Conservation of Nature)]. According to the criteria of the list, the subspecies is assessed as "Endangered,’" it is also written on the aforesaid Facebook page.
