Despite the global economic transformation and the significant upheavals of the financial systems, a positive dynamic of trade and economic relations is observed due to the advantages of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at Friday’s meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

"In the first half of 2022, Armenia's economy has ensured a significant increase in the volume of trade with the [other] EEU countries. During that time, the mutual trade with the [other] EEU countries increased by 52.5 percent or 1.7 billion [US] dollars, compared to the same period last year. Armenia's export increased by 48.9 percent, import—by 54.2 percent. The export growth indicator in mutual trade is more than the rate of growth of Armenian products in trade with third countries. I am convinced that taking into account the new initiatives, the future cooperation will not be less effective," added the Armenian premier.
