Armenia attaches great importance to the formation of a single natural gas market within the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), and is ready for a constructive dialogue in order to reach a consensus on unsettled matters. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at Friday’s Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Kyrgyzstan.

"From the point of view of full acquisition of the single market of goods and services, we consider integration in the fields of transport and infrastructure to be important," he said, adding that with the right approach, the transport-logistics branch can become one of the main drivers of the development of the EEU and the latter’s competitive advantage by creating favorable organizational and economic conditions for transit transportation.

Also, Pashinyan noted that for the construction of the transport-logistics complex of the EEU, it is necessary to synchronize the economic policies at the national and supranational levels and ensure the integrity of approaches regarding the development and operation of integration infrastructure projects.
