Parents of servicemen killed during the 44-day war blocked Vazgen Sargsyan Street in Yerevan. They demand the detention of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Police officers called for the street to be opened.

"We, the parents, collected money, bought a car to come up, and we were going to present our demands with a loudspeaker. But they wouldn't let us, they said we were disrupting the normal rhythm of the General Prosecutor's Office. And what should we do, if normal rhythm of work is more important for them than the right of our children? "Naturally, we have to block the street," Anahit Manasyan, the mother of one of the deceased servicemen, told a reporter. 

She appealed to the policeman: promise that in case the road is opened, our car can drive up to the building. After a while, the protesters opened the road, and the car ended up at the Prosecutor General's Office.

"We were told that Pashinyan is going to Brussels tomorrow, for a meeting. But he should not represent the Armenian people, Pashinyan has no right to do so. We demand that the General Prosecutor's Office prevent his actions as soon as possible," said Garik Galyan, father of deceased soldier Mkhitar Galyan.

According to him, tomorrow the Prime Minister will sign another document, as a result of which "we will start giving territories from Armenia.

Since late April, parents of soldiers who died in the 44-day war, have been protesting in front of the Armenian Prosecutor General's Office. They unsuccessfully demand to detain Nikol Pashinyan.
