Residents of the Tumanyan community of Lori region blocked the road today, demanding that the road, which is neither passable nor passable, be finally repaired.

The residents demanded the authorities to fulfill their promise to repair the roads leading to several villages, President of the NGO Center for Community Unification and Support Oleg Dulgaryan told NEWS.am. According to him, the government allocated money for this purpose back in 2021. The farmers are claiming the roads are not repaired because they will damage the pipes of hydroelectric power plants.

The governor arrived at the site of the action. He said that the government had terminated the contract with the construction company, but the good news is that there will be a new tender this week.

The residents opened the road, but promised to continue the action if things stay as they are.
