Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Cypriot Foreign Minister Ioannis Kasoulides and Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias met in New York on Monday on the sidelines of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

Security issues concerning the South Caucasus and the Eastern Mediterranean were discussed during the meeting. Minister Mirzoyan presented the situation resulting from Azerbaijan's latest aggression against Armenia.

Minister Dendias touched upon Turkey's escalating hostile rhetoric against Greece.

Minister Kasoulides presented his counterparts the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the recent developments regarding the reunification process of Cyprus. Ministers Kasoulides and Dendias expressed their solidarity and support to the Armenian people.

The Foreign Ministers expressed readiness to continue active contacts in the frames of the trilateral format with the aim of raising it to a new qualitative level and expanding the cooperation framework.

The sides also discussed issues related to the Armenia-EU partnership.
