As of 8:30am, there is no change in the situation on the frontline with Azerbaijan. Spokesperson Aram Torosyan of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia told reporters about this on Wednesday morning at Yerablur Military Pantheon in Yerevan.

"In case of any wounded by the adversary, the MOD disseminates an official statement about it," he said.

As for not publicizing the names of the Armenian casualties yet, he said. “The MOD never said it would not publicize. We have said that we are guided only by accurate, unerring information. All rosters will be publicized after final adjustment."

Reporters asked also whether Azerbaijan continues to accumulate military forces on its borders of Armenia.

"The [Armenian] armed forces fulfill the task set before them to the full extent, they diligently implement all the tasks envisioned for the protection of the state border and the sovereign territory," said Aram Torosyan.

Reflecting possible positional losses of Armenia, the MOD spokesperson said: "All kinds of adjustment work is being carried out—both material and other. Loss adjustment work is being carried out; upon the full completion of this work the MOD will provide summary information."

To the question whether it had been possible to remove the Azerbaijani army groups from the Armenian territories in the direction of Jermuk city, or as the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces had said, they are waiting for their supplies to run out and go back on their own, the MOD spokesperson answered: "There has been no change in the situation after the Chief of General Staff presented the situation."

A few days ago, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Edvard Asryan, announced that an Azerbaijani army detachment—of about 10-12 soldiers—is under siege in the direction of Jermuk, and if it does not get food and other resources, it will withdraw and join the rest of its forces.
