The construction of the North-South Highway section of the Malatya-Sebastia metropolitan area is still causing a lot of inconvenience to area residents. Although many of the problems are directly related to the construction, there are also problems caused by elementary negligence.

NEWS.am has repeatedly covered the issue of the construction works. Since the last article was published, the situation has not improved. However, the situation has not improved. During this time, a small section of Babajanyan-Isakov highway was opened with pomp and ceremony, after which the Isakov-Babajanyan exit was immediately closed. Now road works are carried out on one side of the street, while traffic in both directions is carried out on the other.

Previously, the Andranik-Babajanyan intersection was a roundabout. Now it is a T-junction. Changing the route has led to a change in the priority of traffic.

Road signs are placed, but not all traffic participants "notice" them.  Those who move on the main road "by the old memory" continue to yield, and those who should yield do not.
