Armenia is waiting for the CSTO's response, and the response should be political—at least at this phase. The speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia noted about this to reporters in the NA Wednesday—and when asked whether Armenia will leave the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) if the latter does not express a clear position on Azerbaijan's recent military aggression against Armenia.

"In the future, if it becomes clear that, nonetheless, the CSTO has decided to go out of the region, we can simply face the fact that the CSTO has gone out. But such a matter is not being discussed among the Armenian authorities today. We repeat: we are waiting for actions, we are waiting for a response," said Alen Simonyan.

And to the question as to how long they will wait, the NA speaker responded: "It seems to me that this situation already shows that there is very little time left for us to make a decision, as the narrowest area of Armenia is about 30 kilometers. We cannot afford much."
