There are a lot of questions that have been accumulated, about which certain questions should be raised at the trilateral meeting in Sochi, Russia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted about this during the National Assembly question-and-answer session with the government on Wednesday.

"There is an invitation from the President of the Russian Federation to hold a trilateral meeting in Sochi on October 31. I have confirmed my participation, I have no information whether the Azerbaijani side has also confirmed the participation or not. The last time a meeting of this format took place in November last year, and the expectations are related to the assessments of the events that took place during this period. I can also reach until the trilateral statement of November 9. There are a lot of questions that have been accumulated, about which certain questions should be raised. You are familiar with the agenda of those issues," said Pashinyan.

He pointed to several issues that he intends to discuss during the meeting in Sochi.

"In March of this year, the Azerbaijani armed forces had invaded the one of responsibility of the Russian Federation peacekeepers [in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)], and I have not hidden that the lack of response from the peacekeepers and the measures taken are incomprehensible.

Contrary to the agreements reached in the trilateral working group, announcements are made about corridors—and not only from the Azerbaijani side, but also there are obscure people of Russia who are trying to develop it.

The statement of November 26 had noted that the parties agreed to take measures to increase the security level at the [Armenia-Azerbaijan] border and achieve the work of the [border] delimitation commission. At that time, many of our partners—including the partners of the Russian Federation—were saying that the delimitation commission itself would be a security mechanism. We do not share that view, but we decided to show flexibility and take that step. But after the setting up of the commission, the September 13 [military] aggression [of Azerbaijan] took place [against Armenia], and those partners, who were saying that the setting up of the delimitation commission was a security mechanism, have not expressed a clear political position until now about the aggression of September 13," Nikol Pashinyan stated.
