The minister of defense of Armenia on Friday received Austrian Ambassador Alois Kraut and military attaché, Colonel Thomas Ahammer, minister Suren Papikyan informed on Facebook.

"I congratulated the ambassador on the occasion of the National Day of Austria. At the ambassador's request, I presented the situation created as a result of the latest Azerbaijani military aggression [against Armenia]. The opportunities for the development of Armenian-Austrian cooperation in defense sector were discussed during the meeting," Papikyan added.
