The families affected by the Azerbaijani military aggression, whose damages have been assessed, have been restored, the restoration works at the houses that were completely collapsed have not started yet, and the rent matter of these families has been resolved. The governor of Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province told reporters about this ahead of today’s congress of the ruling Civil Contract Party, adding that 80 percent of displaced residents have returned, and the question of the rest is being resolved.

Reflecting on the EU monitoring mission in Armenia, Karen Sargsyan said that he has already met with them, accompanied them to the areas affected by the aforesaid military aggression, showed them the damages, and that they are informed.

"The monitoring mission has already started," Sargsyan added.

The governor of Gegharkunik believes that if a peace treaty is signed with Azerbaijan there will be peace—albeit he does not trust the adversary.
