There is a need to know, ultimately, what the Russian peacekeepers are doing in Nagorno-Karabakh. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Saturday’s congress of Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party.
"We have not forgotten the events of Parukh [village]. We have not forgotten not only because it is a very important matter and there was an arrangement at the highest level that this matter should be resolved and Azerbaijanis must get out of the zone responsibility of Russian peacekeepers. That promise and commitment has not been fulfilled until now. But it is also important because, as our critics were saying to hurt us: ‘Do you want to give Karabakh one Parukh after another Parukh?’ There is truth in that. The answers to these questions must be voiced. Does Russia consistently and firmly defend its proposals or not?" Pashinyan said and asked.
