The Azerbaijani side still does not allow the evacuation of the bodies of Armenian soldiers after the September 13 aggression, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Edvard Asryan told journalists.

"There is a commission set up by a government decision that is doing the relevant work to get information about the last 25 soldiers who are missing. Ten bodies have been handed over to us, and after DNA examination, the number of missing will decrease," Asryan said. The Head of the General Staff assured that the NSS and the Defense Ministry are involved in the evacuation of the bodies. However, the Azerbaijani side still has not given its consent to evacuate the bodies.

Asryan confirmed reports that there is at least one visually visible body, it is in the direction of Kutakan.

As a result of the invasion, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces advanced several kilometers deep into the sovereign territory of Armenia, capturing Armenian positions.
