The opposition keeps talking about inflation, no one denies it, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the discussion of the 2023 state budget draft in parliament on Wednesday.

"Inflation is a global phenomenon, and the inflation rate in Armenia is much lower than in many other countries. Inflation needs to be combated by increasing incomes and wages. Since May 2018, 143,000 new jobs have been created in Armenia. At the same time, as of September 2022, the wage fund has increased by 73% and the average wage by 46.1%," Pashinyan assured.
