A meeting of foreign ministers is being held today, and a regular joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the CSTO in a full-time format will be held tomorrow, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during an extraordinary meeting in the format of the CSTO Ministerial Council on Tuesday.
According to him, very important issues for CSTO countries and for the CSTO in general will be discussed.
"This meeting is also important for us because it is our first face-to-face meeting since Azerbaijan's September aggression against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.
We have about two dozen documents on the agenda concerning foreign policy coordination, military-political cooperation, new threats and challenges, as well as, of course, the situation in the South Caucasus in general.
Most of the projects and issues have already been agreed upon. Yesterday and today the Conciliation Commission worked under the leadership of Stanislav Zas.
I hope for a productive exchange of views and I suggest moving on to the work," the Armenian Foreign Minister said.
