President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said if they act as they do today, the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict will end. His remarks came after a session of the CSTO Collective Security Treaty Organization in Yerevan.

"In the internal circuit of the CSTO it is necessary to increase the cohesion of the states. Reducing tensions and resolving contradictions to strengthen the organization. Stability and security in the area of responsibility. Many things are not subject to disclosure, but for the first time we had an honest and frank conversation. Nikol Pashinyan said that we agreed on 15 points. On one item, which we agreed upon for a long time, our foreign ministers, our Armenian friends proposed amendments. We decided not to accept it and not to go deep into it. But for the first time we agreed and there was concrete movement in that direction, that there are points of contact to come to an agreement.

And as we all understood from the current presidency, if we act as we discussed today, the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict will end and a peace agreement will be concluded. I am excited about that. If Nikol Pashinyan is silent, it means he agrees with what I have just said. You see, he agrees," said Lukashenko.

The Belarusian President reminded that there are other conflicts that need to be resolved: "And there is a very serious movement forward there. We have to remove these conflicts if we want to be a serious responsible organization. If we cannot do it in our own circle, what can we do then?".
